Do you need a new pier or dock at your waterfront? Did your dock get damaged in a storm? AP Solutions LLC can help!
We were hired to remove an old dock and put in a new one while connecting to the entry steps that already existed. The old dock required removing steel poles that were 15+ feet in length and stuck into the mud bottom; we used custom tools to remove the old legs from their decades of settling in the muck. After cutting apart the wood and removing the poles we then hauled it away.
The new dock was installed using existing sections and hardware that the homeowner had already refinished. We modified the existing hardware and created new brackets as required. The bottom was very challenging with approximately five feet of muck before a hard anchoring surface was reached. We sourced new poles to extend through the soft muck to the hard bottom and installed custom augers to stabilize each post. We also built and installed custom bracing to stabilize the dock so walking on it feels solid.
We were hired to arrange the waterfront at a lake front property. With a new boat purchase the family needed their single long dock changed into two separate docks with two boat lifts. They also wanted both boat lifts configured for the water level and boats. To complete this, we found missing parts in the bay, positioned the lifts and floating dock pieces
For the boat lifts we created custom mounting brackets for the boat lift canopy, adjust the legs, adjusted the cradle, and installed a new new winch motor.
